Scan with your iPhone

  • Create a high-resolution 3D scan, a "digital twin", of key structural traits of your cattle - feet, udder, pelvis, anything they will stand still for - using the LiDAR camera available on the iPhone Pro/Max.
  • 3D scans are rendered, saved, and reviewed through the BoviPhIT App, free to download/use through the App Store.
  • No wifi or 3G is required, allowing you to scan anywhere chuteside.

Upload to the Cloud

  • Select scans in the app to upload to the cloud for further evaluation
  • Easily search and subset scans by parameters like scan date and herd

Extract Measurements

Claw measurement analysis
  • When a scan is submitted with a specified body type (ie - not type "Other"), it will be passed into our pipeline of patented computer vision algorithms
  • The key anatomical landmarks will be automatically annotated within the scan
  • The position of these landmarks in 3D spaces used to extract objective measurements of all the angles and proportions our livestock judging coaches taught us to look for (plus a few beyond the human eye).
  • By using 3D geometry, we totally avoid any issues with camera angle

Share Comprehensive Phenotype

  • Creat a comprehensive phenotype report, to share multipe scans and geometric measurements for the same cow.Share scans of any structural trait, even if we don't have measurements automated yet. Select scans of type "other" and the 3D scan will still be shared at the bottom of the report.
  • Easily link this report to your sales catalogue & cattle marking materials through our generated QR code. Reports can be viewed by anyone with the link/QR, without creating an account.
  • Select multiple phenotype reports to create a digital catalouges for a cohort of cattle, and link all to the full collection of reports via QR code
