Catie McVey, MAS PhD

Founder/CEO

Catie is the sixth generation of her family to grow up on her family's homestead in the foothills of North Carolina, but her education has taken her to some of the top farms and land grad universities across the US and around the world. She has dual training in animal science and applied biostatistics through the masters level, and she received her PhD in Animal Biology from UC Davis. She founded OsRostrum Inc. based on her patented work on livestock image analysis - a line of research that can be traced all the way back to her high school science fair project.

Willow O'Brien MS

Computer Vision Engineer

Willow is a developer and researcher from Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Appalachian State University where she received both her undergraduate and master's degrees in Computer Science. She became a part of the Visual and Image Processing Lab where she spent her time working on the honey bee project, gathering data for beekeepers about the hives they managed in Western NC. She is a Computer Vision Developer at OsRostrum Inc.
